For most people,used excavator is an good choice,since it will save a lot of mony,50% or even more. For a big machine,that could be tens of thousands dollars.

Since machine is used for work,do not like clothes or car,for beauty or enjoy life.as it can work good,it is good,no need to buy a new machine if it’s too expensive.

However if you buy a bad machine,the maintenance and repair will cost a lot of money and after that machine may not work very good.

So what’s the tips for choosing a used excavator?

Firstly you should  check the engine & pump,they are the most important parts of a machine. if  the conditions are not good,then the machine can not work good or powerfully. You should check the oil leakage,the fan and cylinder condition of engine & pump.

Then check the Cabin which you will sit in and work in it all the time,is the screen good,the button sensitive,it will be better if the condition is still good.

Next take a look at the boom,is there any damage ,can the boom still lift up and is it still strong enough?Then you should check the bucket,the side lights and the cylinder on the boom.

The undercarriage of the excavator which is as much important as the engine.

You should check the tracks , sprockets,rollers ,is there any replacement of the track pads?The finally step is the really test,start the machine,to check if everything works and works good.Make sure you start everything and all parts work synchronously.

In one word,the most important parts for checking an used excavators namely are:

Engine,pump,cabin,boom,bucket and undercarriage.

Other parts are not big problem even if something else does not work good or broken,it’s easy to repair and costs little.
